Eat a Test Apple to gain the Call of Apple status effect. This effect is temporary, so plan your fishing session accordingly. Test Apples can be obtained by fishing in modded biomes or by harvesting them from custom trees.

Fishing for Modded Apples

While the Call of Apple effect is active, cast your fishing line into any body of water—oceans, rivers, lakes, or even small pools work. You'll catch modded apples alongside normal fish and junk items. The effect increases your chances of pulling up rare fruit varieties that don't spawn naturally on trees.

Maximizing Your Haul

Fish near custom biomes for better results, though the effect works anywhere. Bring multiple Test Apples so you can reapply the effect if it expires mid-session. Store caught apples in an Apple Barrel for organized inventory management. This method is particularly useful for collecting Green Apples and other specialty fruits without traveling to distant biomes.
