How to Craft the Aether's Guard

Gather the Ingredients

The Aether's Guard is a shaped crafting recipe. Before you open a crafting table, collect the exact components the recipe calls for. Because the recipe is shaped, the position of each ingredient in the grid matters — a shuffled layout will not produce the sword.

Place the required items into the crafting table in the pattern the recipe shows. Once the grid matches, take the Aether's Guard from the result slot.

Use It in Progression

Aether's Guard is one of nine craftable items in the mod, alongside Crystaline Blade, Dawnstar, Draconic Blade, Eye-end Blade, Glacial Edge, Gladiolus, Vampiric Blade, and Wither's Bane. All of them come from shaped crafting recipes, so the same approach applies to each: match the grid, then pull the finished item out.

If you are working toward a specific sword, check which of the other eight items feed into its recipe before you spend materials on side crafts. Because every recipe here is shaped, keep your ingredients organized in the grid rather than dumping them in randomly. Once you have the Aether's Guard in hand, it can serve as a component or a finished weapon depending on which other recipes you plan to craft next.
