How to Route Signals with Cables and Bundled Cable

Cables carry redstone signal like wire but can be placed on walls and ceilings. Use any color — Black Cable, Red Cable, Blue Cable, and the rest — to keep parallel runs visually separate. Cables of different colors do not connect to each other, so you can run two independent lines side by side without shorting them.

Junctions, Relays, and Bundles

Where two cable runs must meet, place a Cable Junction. Where a signal needs to be boosted or isolated, place a Cable Relay.

When you need many signals in one physical line, use Bundled Cable. A Bundled Cable carries multiple channels at once. Craft a Bundled Cable Spool to place long runs quickly, then break the spool back down when you are done.

At the ends of a Bundled Cable, use a Distributor to split the bundle into individual outputs, or a Multiplexer to select one channel from the bundle. A Filter passes only matching channels through, and a Multifilter passes several at once.

Use the Pliers to disconnect a single cable from a junction without breaking the whole run. This is the fastest way to fix a misrouted line.
