Using Nylium Paths in the Nether

Pick Your Nylium

Two paths in this mod are built for the Nether: Crimson Nylium Path and Warped Nylium Path. Crimson Nylium Path matches crimson forest terrain. Warped Nylium Path matches warped forest terrain. Both are crafted at a crafting table from their matching nylium block plus the mod's binding item.

Build a Safe Route

1. Mine Crimson Nylium or Warped Nylium with a pickaxe that has Silk Touch so the block drops itself.

2. Craft the matching path blocks at a crafting table.

3. Clear a flat strip along your intended route, removing lava pockets and uneven ground first.

4. Place the nylium path blocks along the strip, keeping them level.

Nylium Path blocks sit flush with the surrounding nylium, so a road through a crimson or warped forest blends into the biome instead of cutting a visible scar through it. Use Crimson Nylium Path near crimson stems and Warped Nylium Path near warped stems to keep each side of a build consistent.

Mixing the Two

Where a crimson forest meets a warped forest, run Crimson Nylium Path up to the border and switch to Warped Nylium Path on the other side. The two blocks meet cleanly because both are full blocks. Break and replace blocks at the seam until the color change lands exactly where you want it.
