How to Craft Every Minecart Variant in More Minecarts and Rails

Gathering the Base Materials

Every cart in this mod is made with a shaped crafting recipe. You will need a vanilla Minecart as the core of each recipe, plus the material that matches the cart you want. Stock up on Copper Ingots, Diamond, Emerald, Gold Ingots, Lapis Lazuli, Netherite Ingot, and Redstone Dust before you start.

Crafting Each Cart

Place a vanilla Minecart in your crafting grid and surround or combine it with the matching material to produce the variant you want:

• Copper Minecart — combine a Minecart with Copper Ingots.
• Diamond Minecart — combine a Minecart with Diamond.
• Emerald Minecart — combine a Minecart with Emerald.
• Gold Minecart — combine a Minecart with Gold Ingots.
• Lapis Minecart — combine a Minecart with Lapis Lazuli.
• Netherite Minecart — combine a Minecart with a Netherite Ingot.
• Redstone Minecart — combine a Minecart with Redstone Dust.

All seven use the crafting_shaped recipe type, so the exact arrangement of ingredients in the grid matters. If a layout does not produce a cart, rearrange the ingredients until the recipe matches. Once crafted, place any cart on a rail like a normal Minecart and ride or push it as usual.
