Understanding the Tiered Egg Progression (II through VIII)

The Tier Ladder

Every elemental line in the mod follows the same naming pattern: a base element name followed by a Roman numeral from II up to VIII. The lines are Air, Boost, Earth, Explosive, Fire, Ice, Lightning, Water, and Wither. Wither stops at Wither Egg III, so it is the shortest line.

Tier II is the entry point for each element. From there you climb upward: II feeds into III, III into IV, and so on until VIII. Each step is a crafting operation that consumes the previous tier plus additional ingredients.

Planning Your Climb

Because every tier consumes the tier below it, you cannot skip steps. If you want a Fire Egg VIII, you must first craft Fire Egg II, then III, then IV, V, VI, VII, and finally VIII. This means the cost compounds — a single high-tier egg represents a long chain of lower-tier eggs.

Build a dedicated chest for each element and label it by tier. When you craft upward, move the finished egg to the next tier's chest so you always know what you have. Start with one element at a time rather than spreading effort across all nine lines, and push that element to VIII before starting another.
