Crafting the Explosive Line

Explosive Egg I is the base of the Explosive line, which runs up to Explosive Egg VIII. Each tier is crafted from the tier below it plus additional ingredients, so the line is a straight chain: I to II to III to IV to V to VI to VII to VIII.

Because the lower tier is consumed at every step, producing a single Explosive Egg VIII requires a full chain of prior crafts. Gather all your materials first, then work upward in one session.

Handling and Storage

Explosive Eggs are destructive. Store them in a chest that is not adjacent to anything you care about, and never keep them in the same chest as your Boost or elemental eggs. A misclick in a shared chest can destroy a long crafting chain.

When you use them, do it outdoors or in a cleared area. Do not test them near your chicken pens, your Egg Carton Block storage, or your furnace and smoker setup. If you are working in a confined space, dig a dedicated pit and detonate there so the blast is contained.

Start with low tiers to learn the blast size before committing high-tier eggs. Explosive Egg VIII represents a large investment, so confirm your target before throwing it.
