How to Craft and Use an Egg Carton Block

Crafting the Egg Carton Block

The Egg Carton Block is the only storage block in the mod and the anchor for organizing your egg collection. It is made through a crafting recipe that consumes multiple eggs at once, so gather a stack of basic eggs before you start. Because the recipe is shapeless, the exact arrangement of ingredients in the grid does not matter — only the set of items you place.

Once crafted, place the Egg Carton Block like any normal block. It gives you a compact way to hold eggs that would otherwise clutter chests, and it pairs well with the tiered eggs you produce later.

Using It as Storage

Keep one Egg Carton Block near your chicken pens so you can dump surplus eggs quickly. When you start producing higher-tier eggs such as Fire Egg II or Water Egg II, store those separately so you do not accidentally use them in recipes meant for basic eggs. The Egg Carton Block is also handy as a visual marker for where your egg processing area begins.

If you are short on space, stack Egg Carton Blocks vertically. They behave like ordinary blocks and can be mined back into your inventory when you need the eggs again.
