What Boost Eggs Are For

The Boost line runs from Boost Egg I through Boost Egg VIII. These eggs are the utility branch of the mod: they exist to be consumed or applied for a beneficial effect rather than to be thrown as projectiles. Boost Egg I is the starting point, and each subsequent tier is crafted from the one below it.

Building the Line

Begin by crafting Boost Egg I. From there, combine it with additional ingredients to reach Boost Egg II, then continue upward through III, IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII. Each step is a crafting recipe, and because the tier below is always consumed, you should decide how far you want to climb before you start spending materials.

Keep your Boost Eggs in a separate chest from your elemental eggs. It is easy to confuse a Boost Egg with an Explosive Egg when both are sitting in the same pile, and using the wrong one wastes a long crafting chain.

If you only need a small effect, stop at a low tier and save the higher-tier ingredients for a different line. If you want the strongest version, commit to the full climb to Boost Egg VIII and gather all the intermediate materials in advance so you are not making repeated trips.
