How to Craft a Diamond Cauldron

Collect Seven Diamonds

The Diamond Cauldron is the most expensive cauldron in the mod. You need seven Diamonds, which means mining diamond ore with an iron pickaxe or better, or finding diamonds in loot chests. Seven diamonds is a serious investment, so gather them before you start.

Craft the Cauldron

On a crafting table, arrange the seven Diamonds in a U shape: three across the bottom row, one in the left-middle slot, and one in the right-middle slot. The top row and the center slot remain empty. The shaped recipe outputs one Diamond Cauldron.

Place the Diamond Cauldron wherever you want a premium-looking cauldron. It holds water and works like any other cauldron for washing leather armor, storing water, and dyeing. Because it costs seven diamonds, treat it as a decorative centerpiece rather than a utility block you would place in a farm.

If you want a cheaper metallic look, the Gold Cauldron uses the same U-shaped recipe with seven Gold Ingots. For a dark, blast-resistant option, the Obsidian Cauldron uses the same layout with seven Obsidian blocks, which requires a diamond pickaxe to mine.
