How to Craft a Cobblestone Cauldron

Mine the Cobblestone

A Cobblestone Cauldron requires seven Cobblestone. Mine stone with any pickaxe to get Cobblestone, or collect it from dungeon walls, village paths, and lava-adjacent stone. Seven blocks is a small amount, so one short mining trip is enough.

Use the Crafting Table

Place the seven Cobblestone in a U shape on a crafting table: three across the bottom row, one in the left-middle slot, and one in the right-middle slot. The top row and center stay empty. The recipe is shaped, so the arrangement matters. The output is one Cobblestone Cauldron.

Set the Cobblestone Cauldron down where you need a cauldron. It behaves like a vanilla cauldron: fill it with a water bucket, use it to wash dyed leather armor, or empty water bottles into it. Because Cobblestone is cheap and renewable from a cobblestone generator, this is the easiest cauldron to mass-produce for farms or decorative rows.

The same U-shaped recipe also produces Stone Cauldron when you use seven Stone blocks instead of Cobblestone, and Brick Cauldron when you use seven Bricks. Smelt Cobblestone into Stone first if you want the smoother Stone variant.
