How to Craft a Copper Bucket in More Buckets

Gather Copper and Shape the Bucket

A Copper Bucket is the entry point for the metal bucket line. You need copper ingots and a crafting table. Open the crafting grid and arrange the copper ingots in the standard bucket pattern: three ingots across the top row, one ingot in the middle-left slot, and one ingot in the middle-right slot. This leaves the center and bottom-center slots empty, matching the vanilla bucket shape. The result is one Copper Bucket.

Use and Upgrade Path

Fill the Copper Bucket at any water source the same way you would a vanilla bucket. It holds and places fluids normally. Once you have copper production running, the Copper Bucket is your stepping stone to denser metals. The same shaped recipe works for Tin, Silver, Bronze, Steel, Aluminum, Quartz, and Obsidian Buckets — swap the copper ingots for the corresponding material. Higher-tier buckets such as Golden, Diamond, and Emerald follow the identical layout with their own ingots or gems. Keep a stack of your chosen material on hand so you can batch-craft buckets without returning to storage. If you are working through a modpack that gates metals behind processing, smelt your ore into ingots first, then craft the bucket at a crafting table.
