How to Craft Any Button in the More Beautiful Buttons Mod

The Basic Conversion

Nearly every button in this mod is made with a shapeless recipe. That means the position of your ingredients in the crafting grid does not matter — you can drop them anywhere and the result appears in the output slot.

The pattern is consistent: take the block you want a button version of and combine it with a standard button. For example, to make an Acacia Log Button, combine an Acacia Log with a button. To make a Diamond Block Button, combine a Diamond Block with a button. The same logic applies across the full block list, from Andesite Button to Light Gray Wool Button.

Working Through the Block List

Because the recipe is shapeless, you can batch-craft efficiently. Gather a stack of buttons and the blocks you want to convert, then run each combination through the grid one at a time.

This works for stone-family blocks (Andesite Button, Diorite Button, Granite Button, Cobblestone Button), wood logs (Birch Log Button, Dark Oak Log Button, Jungle Log Button, Crimson Stem Button), ores (Diamond Ore Button, Gold Ore Button, Iron Ore Button, Emerald Ore Button, Lapis Ore Button), and decorative blocks (Bookshelf Button, Glowstone Button, Hay Block Button, Ice Button, Cactus Button).

Keep a stock of plain buttons on hand so you can convert any block you find while exploring.
