Trigger Loot Collection

Abyssal Mermaids consume nearby mobs and accumulate loot in their stomachs. Strike a full Abyssal Mermaid with a weapon to trigger them to cough up their collected items. The loot varies based on what they've hunted, potentially including rare drops from aquatic mobs they've consumed.

Gather and Escape

Collect the dropped loot quickly and retreat to safety. Abyssal Mermaids remain hostile, so don't linger in combat. Bring armor and weapons suited for underwater fighting—the Depth Slasher deals bonus damage while wet, making it ideal for this task.

Repeat this process across multiple Abyssal Mermaids to accumulate valuable ocean loot. This method is riskier than passive farming but rewards you with unique items unavailable through other means.
