How to Craft and Charge Power Armor
Crafting the Suit
Power Armor is built as four separate pieces: Power Armor Helmet, Power Armor Chestplate, Power Armor Leggings, and Power Armor Boots. Each is made through a shaped crafting recipe. Once you have all four, equip them in the normal armor slots.
Charging the Suit
Power Armor runs on energy. Place a Power Armor Tinker Table and use it to install modules and manage the suit. To keep energy topped up, craft a Solar Generator for passive charging in daylight, a Kinetic Generator to recharge while you move, or a Thermal Generator to draw power from heat sources. A High Efficiency Solar Generator produces more energy than the basic Solar Generator. For storage, install a Fluid Tank if you plan to use water-based modules, and a Cooling System to prevent overheating during heavy module use.
First Modules to Install
Start with Iron Plating or Diamond Plating for defense, then add Jump Assist and Sprint Assist for mobility. Install Night Vision for cave work and Auto-Feeder to manage hunger automatically. Each module is added at the Power Armor Tinker Table, and each draws from the suit's energy pool, so balance generation against consumption before stacking many modules.
