Generating and Storing Energy for Your Suit
Generator Modules
Power Armor needs a steady energy supply. Install a Solar Generator for daylight charging, or a High Efficiency Solar Generator for a stronger version. A Kinetic Generator recharges the suit as you move. A Thermal Generator draws power from nearby heat. A Water Electrolyzer produces energy from water, and a Fluid Tank stores the fluid it needs.
Managing Heat and Drain
Heavy modules overheat the suit. Install a Cooling System to keep temperatures in check. Modules such as Vein Miner, Tunnel Bore, Railgun, Plasma Cannon, and Jetpack drain energy quickly, so match generation to your activity. For mining trips, Kinetic Generator plus Solar Generator covers movement and daylight. For Nether travel, Thermal Generator is more reliable.
Utility Modules That Use Energy
Night Vision, Magnet, Active Camouflage, Energy Shield, Mob Repulsor, and Lightning Summoner all consume energy when active. Toggle them off when not needed to preserve charge. Use the Power Armor Tinker Table to remove modules you are not using, since each installed module adds to the suit's baseline drain. Balance generation, storage, and active modules before long expeditions.
