How to Build a Bathroom with Tiles and a Bathtub

Lay the tile floor and walls

Bathroom Ceramic Tile is the base surface. Beige Ceramic Tile and Brown Ceramic Tile give you two additional color options. Use one tile type for the floor and a second for the walls, or run the same tile throughout for a uniform wet room.

Place the fixtures

1. Put a Bathtub against one wall.

2. Mount an Air Conditioner high on a free wall block for ventilation.

3. Place an Alarm Clock on a shelf or counter near the door.

4. Add a Wall Shelf above the Bathtub for storage.

Add storage and finish

1. Install a Kitchen Cabinet and Kitchen Drawer set in a material that matches your tile, such as Clay Kitchen Cabinet and Clay Kitchen Drawer or Andesite Kitchen Cabinet and Andesite Kitchen Drawer.

2. Place a Barrier block of a matching material at any open edge you want to close off.

3. Use a matching Ramp where the floor meets a raised platform, for example Clay Ramp against Clay Barrier.

Keep the palette tight

Pick one tile color and one cabinet material and repeat them. If you use Beige Ceramic Tile on the floor, use Beige Ceramic Tile on the lower wall and a Painted Drywall such as Blue Painted Drywall or Black Painted Drywall above it. Place the Bathtub before tiling around it so you do not have to remove tiles to fit the fixture.
