Using the Mob Fan to Move Mobs and Items

Placement and Direction

Place a Mob Fan facing the direction you want entities pushed. It blows mobs and items along its facing axis. Use it to shove mobs off ledges, into Iron Spikes, or into a Mob Masher.

Upgrades

Install Mob Fan Distance Upgrade to extend how far the fan pushes. Mob Fan Height Upgrade and Mob Fan Width Upgrade increase the vertical and horizontal coverage of the airflow, so a single fan can move a wider column of mobs.

Stack multiple fans in a line to carry mobs across long distances without water. Point each fan the same way so the mob keeps moving toward the kill zone.

Combining with Conveyors

Entity Conveyor blocks move entities along the ground, while Mob Fan pushes them through the air or across gaps. Use conveyors on flat floors and fans at drops or vertical shafts. Together they replace water streams and let you route mobs precisely into an Absorption Hopper collection point.

If mobs are piling up instead of moving, add another Mob Fan Distance Upgrade or place a second fan in series. Keep the fan's intake clear of solid blocks so the airflow reaches the mobs.
