How to Build a Basic Mob Farm with the Entity Spawner and Mob Masher
Spawning and Killing
Place an Entity Spawner where you want mobs to appear. Feed it the mob you want by using a Mob Swab on a captured creature first, then apply the swab to the spawner. The spawner produces mobs in the area defined by its upgrades.
Surround the spawn area with Iron Spikes or a Mob Masher to kill the mobs. The Mob Masher kills anything pushed into it and accepts upgrades: Mob Masher Upgrade Sharpness, Mob Masher Upgrade Looting, Mob Masher Upgrade Beheading, Mob Masher Upgrade Fire, Mob Masher Upgrade Smite, and Mob Masher Upgrade Arthropods. Install the ones matching your target mob.
Collecting Drops
Place an Absorption Hopper below or beside the kill zone. It pulls in items and XP from the mobs. Add an Absorption Radius Upgrade to widen its pickup range. Route the hopper output into a Jumbo Tank or Singularity Tank if you are handling fluids, or into chests for solid drops.
Use Entity Conveyor blocks to move mobs toward the Masher instead of relying on water. Conveyors push entities in the direction they face, so line them up from the spawner to the kill chamber.
Expand the spawner with Entity Spawner Width Upgrade and Entity Spawner Height Upgrade to increase the volume where mobs appear. A wider, taller spawn area means more mobs per cycle and more drops reaching the Absorption Hopper.
