How to Set Up Boat Energy Storage and Transfer

The Three Energy Blocks

Energy handling uses three blocks:

• Boat Energy Battery — stores energy.
• Boat Energy Charger — fills a battery or boat from an outside source.
• Boat Energy Discharger — pulls energy out of a battery or boat for use elsewhere.

Building a Power Loop

Place a Boat Energy Battery as your buffer. Feed it with a Boat Energy Charger connected to your generator or power source. Draw from it with a Boat Energy Discharger wired to whatever needs power.

For a mobile rig, mount the same blocks on a Modular Boat. The battery rides with the boat, the charger tops it up at dock, and the discharger powers onboard equipment while you travel.

Routing Signals

Use Waterborne redstone conductor to carry redstone signals between these blocks and Waterborne comparator to read levels. This lets you automate charging — for example, only run the charger when the battery is below a threshold, or trip a discharger when a machine needs power.

Creative Testing

Creative mode Engine is available if you want to prototype a boat layout without building a full power chain first. Swap it in, confirm the wiring and module placement, then replace it with a real Boat Energy Battery and Boat Energy Charger setup.
