How to Craft Every Colored Glowstone Block

Start From Plain Glowstone

Every colored Glowstone Block is made with a shaped crafting recipe that combines vanilla Glowstone with a dye. Place the Glowstone Dust or Glowstone Block and the matching dye in the grid in the pattern the recipe shows, and you get the colored block back.

You can craft all sixteen dye colors as glowstone:

Each one uses the dye of the same name, so keep a stock of every dye color on hand before you start. Craft them in batches so you do not run back and forth between your dye chest and your crafting table.

Using the Blocks

Colored Glowstone Blocks emit light just like regular glowstone, so use them anywhere you would use the vanilla block. Because each color is a separate block, you can build striped ceilings, color-coded floor paths, or accent walls without mixing in wool or concrete. If you only need one or two colors, craft those first and expand later.
