How to Craft Stained Glass Slabs and Stairs in Every Color

Pick your color

The mod provides a Stained Glass Slab and Stained Glass Stairs for each of the sixteen dye colors:

White, Orange, Magenta, Light Blue, Yellow, Lime, Pink, Gray, Light Gray, Cyan, Purple, Blue, Brown, Green, Red and Black.

Each color exists as both a slab and a stair block, so you can match any existing stained-glass window or beacon setup.

Crafting and stonecutting

Stained Glass Slab and Stained Glass Stairs are made the same way as the plain versions, but from the matching stained glass block. Use a crafting table with the slab row layout or the stair pattern, or feed the stained glass into a stonecutter and select the slab or stair output.

The color of the input determines the color of the output. Red stained glass gives Red Stained Glass Slab and Red Stained Glass Stairs; Light Blue stained glass gives Light Blue Stained Glass Slab and Light Blue Stained Glass Stairs, and so on.

Building tips

Combine colors to make patterned canopies, colored skylights or decorative railings. Slabs sit flush with full blocks, so you can run a colored slab band through a wall of plain glass without leaving a gap. Stairs let you turn a corner in a colored glass roof while keeping the same tint on both sides.
