Planning a Full Gem Progression Run

A clean progression run moves through four stages: raw material, forged gem, gem gear, and Ultima gear. The Gem Forge sits between the first two stages, and every later recipe depends on it.

Stage 1 — Forge Every Gem Type

Build or obtain a Gem Forge and start forging. The gem list is Air Malachite, Dive Aquamarine, Divine Beryl, Fire Ruby, Haste Peridot, Heart Rhodonite, Ice Sapphire, Kinetic Opal, Lucky Citrine, Power Pyrite, Spider Kunzite, Spirit Garnet, and Unbreaking Iolite. Forge a small batch of each so you are never blocked by a missing gem.

Stage 2 — Craft Gem Gear

Use forged gems to craft the tool and weapon lines: Fire Ruby Sword, Ice Sapphire Sword, Power Pyrite Sword and Axe, Spirit Garnet Sword, Lucky Citrine Sword and Pickaxe, Haste Peridot Pickaxe and Axe, Unbreaking Iolite Pickaxe, Kinetic Opal Axe, and the Air Malachite Bow. These are your working tools for gathering more material.

Stage 3 — Paragon Armor

Craft Paragon Helmet, Paragon Chestplate, Paragon Leggings, and Paragon Boots. This consumes multiple gem types, so forge in bulk before you start.

Stage 4 — Ultima Tools

Finish with Ultima Sword, Ultima Axe, and Ultima Pickaxe. Compress leftover gems into their Block forms for storage as you go.
