Crafting the Air Malachite Bow

The Air Malachite Bow is the mod's ranged weapon. It is crafted from Air Malachite, which you obtain by forging raw materials at the Gem Forge, and it uses the mod's shaped crafting recipe type.

Getting Air Malachite

Air Malachite is a forged gem. Take your raw material to the Gem Forge and run it through the forging process to produce Air Malachite. Do not skip this step — the bow recipe expects the forged gem, not the raw input.

Crafting the Bow

Once you have Air Malachite, open a crafting grid and follow the shaped recipe for the Air Malachite Bow. Because it is a shaped recipe, the position of the Air Malachite matters. Check the recipe layout before placing items so you do not waste a gem on a failed grid.

Ammo and Use

Use the bow as you would any bow: hold it, draw, and fire. Keep arrows in your inventory. The bow occupies the main-hand slot while drawn, so pair it with a melee weapon in your offhand or hotbar for close-range backup.

Storage

If you forge extra Air Malachite, compress nine into a Block of Air Malachite for storage, then break the block back into gems when you want to craft a second bow or another Air Malachite item.
