How to Charge the Mining Gadget

Charging with a Battery Upgrade

A Mining Gadget MK1, MK2, or MK3 runs on internal energy. To give it a larger buffer, install a Battery upgrade in the Modification Table. The tiers are Upgrade: Battery, Tier 1, Upgrade: Battery, Tier 2, Upgrade: Battery, Tier 3, and Upgrade: Creative Battery. Higher tiers hold more charge, and the Creative Battery removes the need to recharge entirely.

Refilling the Internal Buffer

Once a Battery upgrade is installed, the gadget still needs to be filled. Place the gadget in a charging block or station that accepts energy, or combine it with a charged energy source through the Modification Table. The Modification Table is the central block for both installing upgrades and managing the gadget's charge state. Open the table, place the Mining Gadget in the gadget slot, and place the Battery upgrade in an upgrade slot. The table applies the upgrade and the gadget's energy bar becomes visible.

Checking Charge

Hover over the Mining Gadget in your inventory to see its stored energy. If the bar is empty, mining stops working. Swap in a higher Battery tier or use the Creative Battery to avoid running dry during long mining sessions. Keep a spare charged gadget in your inventory so you can keep mining while the first one refills.
