How to Build and Use a Mining Portal

Crafting the Portal

Place a Mining Portal block in the world where you want your entry point. You also need a Mining Teleporter to link the destination side. Both are crafted through the mod's shaped recipes using a Spatial Core and Teleport Pad components as the backbone of the network.

Linking and Travel

Stand near the Mining Portal and interact with it while holding or having placed the matching Mining Teleporter at the far end. The portal and teleporter form a pair: the portal is the block you walk into, the teleporter is what receives you. Once linked, step into the portal to be moved to the Mining dimension.

Getting Back

Place a second Mining Portal on the Mining dimension side and a Mining Teleporter back at your base so the trip works in both directions. Keep the two ends paired — a portal without its teleporter will not move you.

Practical Setup

• Put your Teleport Pad at the arrival point so you land on a stable surface.
• Use a Spatial Capture Tool if you need to relocate a portal without rebuilding it.
• Bring a Spatial Core spare if you plan to expand to other dimensions like Caving, Climbing, Hunting, Nethering, or Sky, since each uses the same portal-plus-teleporter pattern.
