Understand Chunk Boundaries

Chunks are 16×16 block areas. When you cross into a new chunk, all blocks in that area instantly become one random type. Pay attention to where chunk borders are so you know when you're about to enter unknown territory.

Prepare for Hazards

Since chunks can randomly become dangerous blocks like lava or water, always carry blocks for building escape routes. If you land in a suffocating block type, quickly place a block next to you to create an air pocket and escape.

Use Blacklisting Strategically

Before exploring far from home, blacklist blocks that would trap or kill you. This reduces the chaos and makes exploration safer while still keeping the randomness.

Build Safe Bases

Use the force-conversion feature to create chunks of solid, safe blocks around your base. Surround your home with stone or dirt chunks to create a predictable, protected zone before venturing into the random world beyond.
