Remove an Item from a List or Multimap Setting

Deleting Entries from Collections

When you need to remove an item from a list or key-value collection, MineConf provides removal commands for both types.

Step 1: For list/collection settings

If you're removing from a simple list, you need the item's position (index). Use:

`

/mineconf remove <mod_id> <conf_id> <index>

`

Indexes typically start at 0, so the first item is index 0, the second is index 1, and so on.

Step 2: For multimap settings (key-value pairs)

If the setting stores key-value pairs, remove by key:

`

/mineconf remove <mod_id> <conf_id> <key>

`

This removes all values associated with that key.

Step 3: Remove a specific key-value pair

To delete only one value while keeping others under the same key:

`

/mineconf remove <mod_id> <conf_id> <key> <value>

`

Always verify your removal by checking the setting afterward to confirm the correct item was deleted.
