Add Items to a List or Collection Setting

Expanding Collection-Type Settings

Many mods use list or collection settings to store multiple items. MineConf lets you add to these without editing config files.

Step 1: Identify the collection setting

Open /mineconf screen <mod_id> to browse available settings. Collection settings are typically labeled as lists, arrays, or similar types.

Step 2: Add a single item

Use the append command:

/mineconf append <mod_id> <conf_id> <value>

`

This adds your value to the end of the collection. The change takes effect immediately.

Step 3: Verify the addition

Check the updated list by opening the config screen again or querying the setting:

`

/mineconf get <mod_id> <conf_id> value

`

You'll see your new item included. If you need to add multiple items, repeat the append command for each one. Items are added in the order you execute the commands.
