Smithing Dial Recipes: Step by Step

What the smithing_dial Type Does

The mod adds a recipe type called mineminenomi:smithing_dial. It works like a smithing table transformation: you combine a base item with a template or catalyst to produce a dial or dial-upgraded gear. There are seven such recipes in the registry.

Performing a Smithing Dial Recipe

1. Place a smithing table.

2. Open it and insert the base item in the first slot.

3. Insert the required addition in the second slot.

4. If a template is required, place it in the template slot.

5. Take the result from the output slot.

Because the exact inputs differ per recipe, open your recipe viewer and search for the dial you want — for example Axe Dial, Eisen Dial, or Reject Dial. The viewer will show the precise base, addition, and template.

Related Crafting Types

Other recipes use crafting_shaped (30 recipes), crafting_shapeless (4 recipes), smelting, campfire_cooking, and smoking. Weapons such as Cutlass, Broadsword, Dagger, and Cleaver are typically made through standard crafting. Cooked Sea King Meat comes from smelting, campfire_cooking, or smoking raw meat. Use the correct station for each recipe type or the craft will not complete.
