How to Obtain and Eat a Devil Fruit

Finding a Fruit

Devil Fruits are the core power source. The Devil Fruit Encyclopedia is your reference item for identifying what a fruit does before you commit to it. Fruits can be found through world exploration, chest loot, and the Custom Spawner block, which lets you place and control mob or fruit spawns in a controlled area.

Once you hold a fruit item (for example Awa Awa no Mi, Baku Baku no Mi, Bane Bane no Mi, Bara Bara No Mi, Bari Bari no Mi, Beta Beta no Mi, Bomu Bomu no Mi, Chiyu Chiyu no Mi, Deka Deka no Mi, Doa Doa no Mi, Doku Doku no Mi, or Doru Doru no Mi), eating it grants its abilities permanently.

Before You Eat

Eating a fruit is a one-way decision for that character. If you want to change powers later, you need a way to remove the fruit first — see the removal guide. Plan your build around the fruit's role: combat, mobility, or utility.

After eating, open your ability interface to see what the fruit unlocked. Abilities are used through keybinds, not by right-clicking the fruit item again. Practice in a safe area before taking the fruit into a fight, since many abilities have cooldowns and stamina or resource costs.
