Finding a Devil Fruit

Devil Fruit is the core item for gaining a power. It can appear as a world drop, in chests, or through the Custom Spawner block. Once you have a Devil Fruit in hand, right-click with it to eat it and gain its ability. Eating a second Devil Fruit is not possible — one fruit per character.

If you do not yet have a fruit, look for a Devil Fruit Clue. Clues point you toward a fruit's location. You can also consult the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia to identify fruits you have seen. The Ancient Manual is another reference item for fruit knowledge.

Using the Character Creator

Before or after eating a fruit, use the Character Creator item to set your appearance and confirm your build. The Color Palette and Design Barrel help customize visuals. If you want to reroll or change your fruit, you must start a new character — the fruit choice is permanent for that life.

Storing and Trading

Keep spare Devil Fruit in a safe chest. Belly Pouch and Extol Pouch store currency, not fruit. If you find a fruit you do not want, trade it to another player rather than eating it. The Devil Fruit Encyclopedia entry updates as you encounter new fruits, so carry it while exploring to log what you find.
