Use Mine Life 2 Sounds in Multiplayer Servers

Client-Side Installation

Mine Life 2 is a resource pack, which means it works entirely on your client side. Other players won't hear the Half-Life 2 sounds unless they also install the pack—your audio experience is personal.

Installation for Multiplayer

1. Install Mine Life 2 to your .minecraft/resourcepacks/ folder as you would for single-player

2. Launch your game and connect to any multiplayer server

3. The pack will automatically apply to that server session

4. No server configuration or permissions needed

Important Notes

Server admins cannot force resource packs on players through Mine Life 2 alone. Each player must manually install it to hear the Half-Life 2 audio. The pack doesn't affect gameplay mechanics, PvP balance, or server performance—it's purely audio replacement.

If you're playing on a server with a custom resource pack requirement, you may need to merge Mine Life 2 with that pack, or choose which one to prioritize. Check your server's resource pack folder structure to combine them correctly.
