Layer Mine Life 2 with Other Resource Packs

Pack Priority and Layering

Minecraft loads resource packs in the order you arrange them in the resource pack menu. Packs listed higher override those below them. Mine Life 2 can work alongside texture packs, shader packs, and other audio modifications.

Setting Up Multiple Packs

1. Open your resource pack folder in .minecraft/resourcepacks/

2. Place Mine Life 2 above any texture or audio packs you want it to override

3. In-game, go to Options > Resource Packs and drag Mine Life 2 to the top of your active list

4. Test sounds in-game to confirm Half-Life 2 audio is playing

Conflict Resolution

If another pack also replaces sounds, whichever pack is listed higher will take priority. If you want Mine Life 2's audio but another pack's textures, ensure Mine Life 2 is positioned above the texture pack in your list.

Shader packs don't conflict with resource packs—they work independently. You can safely combine Mine Life 2 with any shader without audio or visual issues.
