Running Adventure Maps and Using Keys

Creating a Map

Start with an Adventure Map Creator. This item lets you generate an adventure map to run. Once you have a map, you can adjust its rarity using Currency/Map Rarity Upgrade — higher rarity maps are harder and give better rewards.

Maps are consumed when you run them. Keep spare Adventure Map Creator items so you can roll new maps when the current one is cleared or too difficult.

Keys and Rewards

Maps and content are gated by keys. The mod registers Keys/0 through Keys/5, one per tier. You need the matching key tier to open the corresponding content. Higher-tier keys open higher-tier rewards.

Keys come from the mod's loot and progression systems. Don't spend a high-tier key on low-tier content — save Keys/4 and Keys/5 for the content they're meant for.

Supporting Stations

Before running a map, prepare at the stations: craft or upgrade gear at the Gear Crafting Station, apply enchantments at the Enchanting Station, and brew consumables at the Alchemy Station. Cook food at the Cooking Station using Material/Meat/0 and Material/Meat/1 and the farming and fishing materials. Salvage junk gear at the Salvaging Station to recover materials for the next run.
