Get Denier and Gold Denier

Denier is the mod's coin. You obtain it through trading with villages and by crafting. Gold Denier is the higher-value coin. Both are items you carry in your inventory.

Store Coins in a Denier Pouch

Craft a Denier Pouch to hold your coins. The pouch keeps your Denier and Gold Denier organized instead of scattering them across inventory slots. Carry the pouch when you travel between villages so you can pay for goods without digging through your bags.

Spend Coins on Village Goods

Villages accept Denier for their products. Walk up to a villager with a trade and pay with the coins in your pouch. Gold Denier covers larger purchases; keep a mix of both so you can make change. If a trade costs more than you carry, convert some Gold Denier or sell surplus goods — Fine Wine, Cider, Calvados, and Ayran are all sellable drinks that bring coins back. Restock your pouch before a long trading run. Because Denier and Gold Denier are separate items, track both totals; a pouch full of Denier will not cover a Gold Denier price.
