How to Equip and Cast Your First Spell

Opening Your Spellbook

To start casting magic, you need to equip a spell first. Hold your Magic Wand in your main hand, then press R to open the Notebook of Spells menu. This displays all available spells you can use.

Selecting and Casting

Browse through the spell list and click on any spell to equip it as your active power. Once selected, close the menu and you're ready to cast.

With the wand in hand and a spell equipped:

• Right-click to cast your active spell
• The spell will fire in the direction you're facing

Trying Secondary Modes

Some spells have alternate effects. While holding the wand, hold Sneak (Shift) and right-click to trigger the secondary mode if your equipped spell supports it. Not all spells have alternate modes, so experiment to discover which ones do.

You can swap spells at any time by pressing R again and selecting a different spell from your Notebook. This lets you adapt your magic to different situations—use offensive spells like Rainbow Fist Punch for combat, and utility spells like Levitato for exploration.
