Obtaining Phantoplasm

Phantoplasm is the spectral material tied to the mod's ghostly content. It is produced through the mod's processing recipes rather than found in the world. Feed the relevant spectral ingredients into a furnace or blast furnace — the mod registers both a smelting and a blasting recipe, so either works, though blasting is faster. Keep a steady supply of fuel on hand, since you will want multiple Phantoplasm for the items that consume it.

What Phantoplasm Is For

Phantoplasm feeds into the phantom-themed gear line. It is used alongside Spectre's Eye and Spectre's Grasp, the two spectral equipment pieces, and it ties into the Haunted Bell and the Bellringer encounter. If you are working toward the Bellringer Spawn Egg or the Bellringer's Head, expect Phantoplasm to sit somewhere in that chain.

Practical Loop

1. Gather the spectral input items from the mod's earlier content.

2. Smelt or blast them into Phantoplasm.

3. Bank a stack before you start crafting, because the phantom gear and the Haunted Bell both draw on it.

4. Use the leftover Phantoplasm to craft Spectre's Eye and Spectre's Grasp so you are equipped before summoning Bellringer.

Because Phantoplasm comes from processing rather than combat, you can build it up passively while doing other tasks. Set up your furnace array near where you fight so you can restock between attempts.
