Making Medkits: Novice, Advanced, and Expert

Medkits are the top-tier healing items and each tier covers more severe injuries than the last. Build them in order — Novice Medkit first, then Advanced Medkit, then Expert Medkit.

What Each Tier Needs

Novice Medkit combines basic dressing materials with a container. Advanced Medkit requires the higher-grade dressings and a Cotton Filter or similar purified component. Expert Medkit pulls in the rarest inputs, including Penicillium Powder and processed liquids from the Distillery Apparatus. All three use Cotton Fabric and Empty Medical Bottle somewhere in their chain, so keep both stocked.

Field Use

Carry a Novice Medkit for routine injuries and save Advanced and Expert Medkits for emergencies. Apply a Dressing first to stop bleeding, then use the Medkit to treat the underlying wound. If the injury involves infection, Penicillium Powder and Penicillium-Charcoal Mix are the treatment path — the charcoal mix is the safer form. A Splint handles fractures that Medkits alone will not fix. Do not waste an Expert Medkit on a scratch; the ingredients are slow to replace and you will want it when a real fight goes wrong.
