Customize Alert Messages and Sounds

Access Configuration Files

Locate the MCEEW Plugin configuration folder in your server directory. This contains settings for alert text, sounds, and display behavior.

Modify Alert Text

1. Open the plugin's config file

2. Find sections controlling chat message format and title text

3. Edit the text to match your server's style or language

4. Save your changes

Change Alert Sounds

The plugin uses custom sound files for notifications. You can:

• Replace default sound files with your own audio
• Adjust sound volume and pitch settings
• Disable sounds entirely if preferred

Apply Changes

After editing configuration:

1. Run /eew reload in-game

2. The plugin reloads all settings without restarting the server

3. Test with /eew test to verify your customizations appear correctly

Important Notes

Always back up your original config files before making changes. Invalid formatting can prevent alerts from working properly.
