Making Glow Berry Ice Cream and Chilled Sweets

Finding and Harvesting Glow Berries

Glow berries grow on cave vines in the Deep Dark and Lush Caves biomes. Break the vines carefully to collect berries. Unlike sweet berries, glow berries have a limited natural supply, so harvest carefully and consider farming them if possible.

Crafting Chilled Desserts

Glow Berry Ice Cream, Sweet Berry Sorbet, and Mixed Berry Sundae are cold treats that require glow berries or sweet berries combined with other ingredients. These recipes typically involve ice or snow blocks to represent the "chilled" aspect. Check your recipe book for exact combinations.

Special Glow Berry Effects

Glow berry foods grant unique status effects when eaten. Glow Berry Muffins provide night vision, useful for exploring dark caves. Glow Berry Smoothies have a chance to grant night vision or cause blindness—useful for experimental gameplay. These special effects make glow berry foods valuable beyond simple nutrition, especially for cave exploration and mining expeditions.
