Use Your Own Texture Pack with Matcha Vanilla Flavoured

Load Your Texture Pack on Top

The Matcha Vanilla Flavoured Resource Pack removes custom textures from the main data pack, creating space for your own resource packs to shine without conflicts.

Steps:

1. In your resource pack folder, place the Matcha Vanilla Flavoured Resource Pack first in your load order

2. Place your favorite texture pack directly after it

3. Open Minecraft and go to Options > Resource Packs

4. Confirm both packs appear in the active list, with your custom pack positioned below Matcha Vanilla Flavoured

5. Load your world — your textures should now display cleanly over the vanilla-style base

Why This Works

The Matcha data pack adds new gameplay content and items. The Matcha Vanilla Flavoured Resource Pack strips away the custom visuals for existing blocks and items, leaving only textures for completely new additions. This prevents your resource pack from conflicting with custom models or overlapping textures. Your pack can now override standard blocks freely while new Matcha items retain their intended look.
