Making Crimson and Warped Crates

Nether Wood Crates

Two of the nine Market Crates use Nether wood: the Crimson Crate and the Warped Crate. These are crafted the same way as the Overworld crates, but with Crimson Planks or Warped Planks instead of planks from a tree.

Getting Crimson and Warped Planks

Crimson Planks come from Crimson Stems, and Warped Planks come from Warped Stems. Travel to the Nether, find crimson and warped forests, and harvest the stems. Bring the stems back to a crafting table and convert them into planks. You need enough planks to fill the shaped crate pattern.

Crafting the Crates

Once you have the planks, open a crafting table and lay them out in the same shaped pattern used for the other Market Crates. Crimson Planks produce a Crimson Crate; Warped Planks produce a Warped Crate. Because the recipe is shaped, keep the arrangement identical to the Overworld crates and only swap the plank type.

If you plan to build with Nether wood, craft both crates in the same session so you only make one trip for stems. The Crimson Crate and Warped Crate complete the Nether half of the mod's nine-crate set.
