Steel is not just for gear — the mod adds a full set of building blocks for base construction.

Basic Building Blocks

Craft Steel Block from Steel Ingot for a solid, uniform building material. From Steel Block you can derive Steel Slab and Steel Stairs for detailed builds, and Steel Wall for barriers and accents. These three cover most of what you need for walls, floors and roofs.

Functional Blocks

Steel Fence and Steel Fence Gate work for enclosures, pens and railings. Steel Button and Steel Pressure Plate give you redstone input options that match the rest of the set visually. Place them wherever you would use their wooden or stone equivalents.

Planning a Build

Because every decorative block traces back to Steel Ingot, estimate your ingot needs before you start. A wall of Steel Block consumes ingots fast; mixing in Steel Slab and Steel Stairs stretches the same ingots further while adding depth. Keep a Raw Steel Block or Steel Block in storage as a compact reserve, and convert back to ingots or nuggets when a recipe demands it.
