How to Craft and Use the Basic Table

The Basic Table is your first working station. Place it down and right-click to open its interface.

Getting Started

Craft the Basic Table using the crafting_shaped recipe available from your recipe book. Once placed, it serves as the foundation for early mana and artifice work. Use it to craft the Amethyst Wand and Amethyst Staff, which are your first casting tools.

Crafting Progression

From the Basic Table you can produce:

• Amethyst Wand — a basic casting implement
• Amethyst Staff — a stronger variant
• Arcane Compound — a processed material used in further recipes
• Arcanist's Ink — required for glyph work
• Blank Glyph — the empty glyph you will later color

Combine Arcane Compound with other ingredients at the Basic Table to move toward the Affinity Tinker Table. The Affinity Tinker Table unlocks affinity-specific crafting and is the next major station after the Basic Table.

Keep a stack of Arcane Compound on hand; many later recipes consume it. Smelt raw materials in a furnace or blast furnace where the recipe calls for it — smelting and blasting recipes exist for a small set of items, so check the recipe book before assuming a crafting-grid recipe.

Once you have the Affinity Tinker Table placed, you can branch into Chimerite gear and glyph work.
