Glyphs, Ink, and the Affinity Tinker Table

Spellcasting runs on glyphs prepared at the Affinity Tinker Table.

Preparing Glyphs

Start with a Blank Glyph. Combine it with Arcanist's Ink to begin defining a spell. Colored glyph variants exist:

  • Black Glyph
  • Blue Glyph
  • Brown Glyph

Each color corresponds to a different effect or affinity. Craft the color you need, then slot it into your wand or staff using the Affinity Tinker Table.

Using the Affinity Tinker Table

Place the Affinity Tinker Table and open it. Insert your casting tool and the glyphs you want bound to it. The table handles affinity-specific combinations that the Basic Table cannot.

Produce Arcanist's Ink and Arcane Compound at the Basic Table first if you have not already. Animated Quill and Book of Marks are also crafted through the table chain and are useful for recording and marking locations.

Chimerite Gem and Chimerite Block feed into higher-tier glyph and wand recipes. Mine Chimerite Crystal blocks (Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan) to obtain the gems.

Swap glyph loadouts at the Affinity Tinker Table whenever you change tasks — combat, mining, or utility.
