How to Build with Tainted Rock and Twisted Rock

Mine and Process the Stone

Mine Tainted Rock and Twisted Rock underground. Take the raw blocks to a stonecutter to produce Polished Tainted Rock, Polished Twisted Rock, Cut Tainted Rock, and Cut Twisted Rock. Each variant has slab and stair forms.

Use a furnace or blast furnace to create Smooth Tainted Rock and its slab and stair variants. Smelting also produces Cracked Tainted Rock Bricks and Cracked Twisted Rock Bricks, which have their own slab, stair, and wall forms.

Decorate Your Base

Combine polished and cut stone with Runewood Planks to build a cohesive base. Craft Runewood Doors, Runewood Trapdoors, Runewood Fences, and Runewood Fence Gates for functional builds. Use Runewood Panels and Runewood Tiles for walls and floors.

Place Runewood Signs for labeling and Runewood Buttons and Runewood Planks Pressure Plates for redstone. Build a Runewood Boat or Runewood Boat with Chest for transport.

For decorative accents, craft Chiseled Tainted Rock and Chiseled Twisted Rock at a stonecutter. Use Small Tainted Rock Bricks and Small Twisted Rock Bricks for detailed patterns. Combine these with Block of Hallowed Gold or Block of Soulstone for contrast in floors and pillars.
