Reduce Desaturation for a Brighter, More Colorful Look
Find Color Grading Controls
Open shader settings and locate saturation, color correction, or color grading options. MakeUp Dead Days Shaders applies a desaturated (muted) color palette by default for its dark, gritty aesthetic.
Increase Saturation
Raise the saturation slider to restore more vibrant colors to grass, wood, stone, and sky. Higher values make your world feel less washed out and more visually alive. Lower values maintain the shader's signature moody tone.
Adjust Contrast if Needed
If available, increase contrast slightly when boosting saturation. This prevents the world from looking flat or muddy and helps colors pop against shadows.
Balance Mood and Visibility
Test your changes across different biomes and times of day. Forests should show rich greens; deserts should display warm oranges and tans. Avoid over-saturating—the goal is to brighten the palette while keeping MakeUp Dead Days Shaders' atmospheric character intact.
Save settings once you achieve a look that feels both visually appealing and true to the shader's intended aesthetic.
