How to Craft and Use the Enderium Upgrade Smithing Template

Crafting the Template

Enderium gear is not made at a normal crafting table. It uses smithing_transform recipes, and the Enderium Upgrade Smithing Template is the item that unlocks them. Craft the template first using its crafting recipe, then keep it — it is the key to every Enderium upgrade you will perform.

Applying the Upgrade

Take your template to a smithing table. Place the template in the template slot, your base item in the base slot, and the required Enderium material in the addition slot. The smithing_transform recipe converts the base item into its Enderium version. This is how you produce the Enderium Sword, Enderium Pickaxe, Enderium Axe, Enderium Shovel, Enderium Hoe, Enderium Helmet, Enderium Chestplate, Enderium Leggings, and Enderium Boots.

Order of Operations

Upgrade the pieces you use most first. A pickaxe and sword pay off immediately; armor pieces follow. Because the template is reusable across smithing operations, you do not need a fresh template for each piece — craft one and run every upgrade through it. Keep your Enderium Ingots stocked so you are never stuck mid-upgrade, and store finished pieces in an ender chest or similar safe container so a death does not cost you the whole set.
