Using Boundary Blocks for Defense and Utility

What Boundaries Do

Boundary blocks project a defined area effect. Place one and it maintains its field while powered by your attunement. The main boundaries are Alarm Boundary, Boundary of Drain Life, Displacement Boundary, Enclosure Boundary, Gravity Boundary, Invisible Barrier, Ordered Displacement, Protective Displacement, Proximity Projection, Projectile Displacement, Selective Displacement, Tangible Boundary, and Equivalent Displacement.

Placement Steps

1. Attune with the Attuner.

2. Craft the Boundary block you want.

3. Place it on a solid surface where the field will cover the area you want to protect or affect.

4. Stand within range and confirm the effect is active.

5. Break and reposition the block if the field does not cover the right space.

Common Setups

• Alarm Boundary around a base perimeter to detect intruders.
• Invisible Barrier and Tangible Boundary to block movement without visible walls.
• Boundary of Drain Life near a mob farm to damage anything inside.
• Protective Displacement and Projectile Displacement around a fighting position to redirect incoming attacks.
• Gravity Boundary and Enclosure Boundary to trap or slow entities.
• Displacement Boundary, Ordered Displacement, Selective Displacement, and Equivalent Displacement to move entities or blocks between points.

Power and Maintenance

Boundaries rely on your mana. If a field stops working, re-attune and check that you are within range. Keep spare Boundary blocks in a chest so you can redeploy quickly after a raid.
